NetKrypton Titanium — Terms of Use / Acceptable Use Policy
WebOrbiton Team
Last updated: 2026

1. WHAT THIS TOOL IS FOR

NetKrypton Titanium ("Titanium", "the Software") is a free, self-hosted PHP
security auditing script provided by the WebOrbiton Team. It is designed to
be installed on a server YOU own or are explicitly authorized to administer,
in order to help you find misconfigurations, exposed files, and other
security weaknesses on that same server.

Titanium is a defensive tool. It exists to help operators protect their own
infrastructure before someone else finds the same weaknesses first.

2. ACCEPTABLE USE

You may use Titanium only:

  a) On servers, domains, and hosting accounts that you own, or
  b) On servers, domains, and hosting accounts you have been given clear,
documented, written authorization to test by their rightful owner or
operator (for example, as a hired security consultant with a signed
engagement letter or statement of work).

You are solely responsible for verifying you have the legal right to scan
any system before running Titanium against it.

3. STRICTLY PROHIBITED USES

You may NOT use Titanium, in whole or in part, and may NOT use any
information, output, or report it produces, to:

  - Scan, probe, or audit any server, domain, or hosting account that you
do not own and do not have explicit written authorization to test.
  - Gain, or attempt to gain, unauthorized access to any system, account,
    network, or data.
  - Identify vulnerabilities for the purpose of exploiting them, extorting
a site owner, or facilitating any form of unauthorized intrusion,
defacement, data theft, ransomware deployment, or denial-of-service
    attack.
  - Assist, enable, or facilitate hacking, cracking, phishing, malware
distribution, credential theft, or any other malicious or criminal
    activity, against any third party.
  - Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or
regulation, including computer-crime and data-protection laws.
  - Circumvent the access controls, rate limits, or authentication of any
system you are not authorized to test.
  - Resell, repackage, or represent Titanium's findings as part of a
fraudulent, deceptive, or extortion-based "security audit" service
offered to a site owner without their consent.

Using this tool against a system without proper authorization is illegal in
most jurisdictions and may expose you to criminal and civil liability. The
WebOrbiton Team does not authorize, condone, or take responsibility for any
such use.

4. NO WARRANTY, NO GUARANTEE OF COMPLETENESS

Titanium performs automated, heuristic checks. It does not guarantee that a
server is secure, nor does it guarantee that it will detect every possible
vulnerability, misconfiguration, or piece of malicious code. A "clean" scan
result is not proof of security. You remain responsible for your own
security posture, backups, and incident response.

The Software is provided "AS IS", without warranty of any kind, express or
implied, as further described in the accompanying LICENSE.txt (MIT License).

5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the WebOrbiton Team and
its members shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental,
special, consequential, or exemplary damages resulting from:

  - The use or misuse of this Software by any party,
  - Any unauthorized or illegal use of this Software against systems the
user does not own or is not authorized to test,
  - Any action taken (or not taken) based on the results of a Titanium
    audit,
  - Any security incident, data loss, downtime, or other harm arising from
    reliance on this tool.

You use Titanium entirely at your own risk and are solely responsible for
any consequences of running it.

6. HANDLING OF THE ACCESS PASSWORD AND SCAN DATA

Titanium stores its access password in plain text inside the script and
does not transmit any scan data outside the server it runs on. You are
responsible for:

  - Setting a strong, unique access password before deploying the file,
  - Removing the file from your server promptly after each audit,
  - Safeguarding any exported JSON/CSV reports, since they may contain
sensitive information about your server's configuration and
    vulnerabilities.

7. REPORTING MISUSE

If you become aware of Titanium being used to attack, scan without
authorization, or otherwise harm a system you operate, you may report it
through the contact channels listed on titanium.netkrypton.com.

8. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

The WebOrbiton Team may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The
version published on titanium.netkrypton.com at the time of use governs
that use.

By downloading, installing, or running NetKrypton Titanium, you confirm
that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Use, and that
you will only use the Software on systems you own or are explicitly
authorized to test.
